PEI PNP Draw: 46 New Applications Invited

On March 2, Prince Edward Island (PEI) held its third round of invitations for 46 immigration candidates to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

The candidates are invited from Labour & Express Entry category.

Through PEI’s Province Nominee Program, prospective candidates having the necessary skills, education and, experience have been targeted, who may receive PEI’s Provincial Nomination Certificate, which helps to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada.

EOI profiles would be selected on a score based on PEI’s points grid &, like the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), the highest- ranked candidates are invited to apply through monthly draws.

PEI has three immigration categories:

Over the last 12 months, the PEI PNP has issued:

  • 110 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates, &
  • 1,845 invitations to Labor & Express Entry candidates.

Business Work Permit Entrepreneur invitations over the last 12 months – 6%

Labor & Express Entry invitations over the last 12 months – 94%

The latest Prince Edward Island PNP draw was different as it only invited Labor and Express Entry candidates. No Business Work Permit Entrepreneur invitations were issued in latest PEI PNP draw.
